SL50W
The 5-tonne standard
The most common loader class in South Africa. One machine that does stockpile, truck loading, clean-up and general site duty.
Power
162 kW
Payload
5.0 t
Bucket
3.0 m³
A wheel loader is paid by the tonne, and tonnes come from fill factor multiplied by cycles per hour. The SL range pairs a Z-bar linkage with strong breakout and a driveline that recovers quickly out of the pile, so the bucket comes out full, every time, all shift.

Small differences compound. A loader that fills to 105% instead of 90%, and turns a cycle two seconds faster, moves an extra truckload every hour.
Bucket capacities shown are general-purpose. Rock, light-material and high-lift arrangements are available on most models.

Heavier plate, bolt-on wear packages and replaceable GET for blasted rock and recycled concrete.
Hydraulic quick coupler lets one loader shift bricks, bags and palletised stock between load cycles.
Extra dump height for loading high-sided haulers, blending beds and silo feed.
Legal-load accuracy at the pile, with printed tickets and shift totals for reconciliation.
Over 10 000 hours, fuel typically exceeds the purchase price of the machine. We quote litres per hour honestly and will run a monitored comparison on your own site if you want proof.
On a quarry loader, tyres can be the second-largest running cost after fuel. We build a wear and replacement forecast into every quote so the number in your rate build-up is the number you actually spend.
We will bring a demo loader to your pile, run it against your current machine and give you the measured numbers. No presentation, just a stopwatch and a weighbridge.
